Our Food - A Place to Grow

Our FOOD

Fuel for Growing Minds and Bodies

We believe that mealtimes are just as important as playtime — a chance to fuel growing bodies, explore new tastes, and enjoy shared moments around the table.

At A Place to Grow, we provide healthy, balanced meals and snacks throughout the day. We focus on fresh ingredients, home-style cooking, and age-appropriate portions that meet each child's needs. Whether it's a warm lunch or a mid-morning snack, everything is prepared with care and attention.

We introduce a variety of fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins to encourage healthy eating habits from a young age — and yes, we make it fun too! Mealtimes are relaxed and sociable, helping little ones develop confidence and positive relationships with food.

Why Nutrition Matters

Nutrition plays a vital role in every part of a child's development — from physical growth and brain function to emotional wellbeing and learning. A well-nourished child is more likely to stay healthy, maintain a balanced weight, and thrive both socially and academically.

Routine and Hydration

Mealtimes follow a consistent daily routine to help children feel secure and confident.

Fresh drinking water is available throughout the day, and we encourage children to stay hydrated, especially during active play and warmer weather.

Nutrition That Nurtures

Health & Dietary Requirements

We take food allergies and dietary requirements seriously. All meals are planned with your child's individual needs in mind, and we work closely with parents to ensure every child is safe, comfortable, and well-fed.

Your child's health and safety are always our top priority. If your child has any allergies, medical conditions, or religious/cultural dietary requirements, please let us know — we will work closely with you to ensure their individual needs are fully met.

We are experienced in managing a range of dietary needs and are committed to providing inclusive, safe, and nourishing food for every child in our care.

Our 3-Week Rotating Menu

We provide fresh, nutritious meals that are carefully planned to support your child's growth and development. All meals are prepared with love and attention to dietary requirements.
